I ranked and reviewed all the movies I saw in 2023 so I thought I would do it again! Notes: *- Early screening * *- Dolby or Imax format * **-saw alone in an empty theatre Let's first review! Boys in the Boat (PG-13) 123 minutes/ The Iron Claw *** (R) 132 minutes (double feature day) "Boys in the Boat" was simple. I quite enjoyed it. One of the simplest movies I have seen in a while which felt like a breath of fresh air. Was it great? No. Will it go down as the best film of the year or decade? Never. But was it a nice true story that was enjoyable? 100% and for that it moves farther up my list than it probably should be, especially if you look at it from a critic's standpoint!
