Highlighting The Four Festivals of EPCOT
Highlighting the Epcot Festivals
There are four festivals covering 11 months of the year at Epcot. I wanted to write a blog post highlighting each festival; but, I was having trouble figuring out which direction I wanted to go. I finally decided to ask friends what they thought about each festival, so below I've included 3 opinions about each one to help you decide which you may want to visit. (July doesnt have a festival; but, it does go all out for July 4th!)
International Festival of the Arts (Jan and Feb)
This is absolutely my favorite. I love the sidewalk chalk art, the Broadway concerts each night, the food is art itself. You get to meet the artist. It makes me happy!
I love Festival of the Arts for the Disney on Broadway performances. I love looking at the different art too. -Aaron

I love the Broadway concerts. I love that the food booths are serving great dishes but there’s much more emphasis on the presentation than other festivals in keeping with the theme. The chalk artists are amazing, especially the 3D which totally freaks me out. I also enjoy the different art interpretations of Disney characters. I find it the most entertaining festival. -Lynn
Festival of the Arts because it's really lovely that it highlights the art that is famous in each country. It is an opportunity for people who don't normally engage in the arts to see what each country contributes to the arts. - Eve
International Flower and Garden Festival (Mar to June)
The flowers and topiaries are really neat. Spring is my favorite season and it embodies the season.
The flatbread from the honey beestro is delicious, violet lemonade is really good, frushi is fun, but what I really love is the flowers! -Lindsey

Flower and Garden. It's beautiful and I think the food is more inventive- Jen
Flower and garden is my second favorite festival. My single favorite festival thing is the little flower pods floating on the lake. But the topiaries are really cool...the first time. I do think the general flower beds are absolutely awesome though. -Cayenne
International Food and Wine Festival (Aug to Nov)
The food is incredible. Booth after booth there are so many options!
Definitely Food and Wine! Not Only because I feel like it's more of an adult festival, but the concerts are great. I have so many favorite foods too. Here are some Ireland cheddar and stout dip and warm chocolate pudding, Hawaii Kalua pork sliders- Evelyn
I get to try new food and drinks and have my favorites. -Amanda
I like Food and Wine Festival because I like food and I like wine. mmm...I’m gonna have to dig deep for this one. The chocolate pudding from Ireland’s pretty good, um. The avocado crema was GREAT when it existed. Um. Ooh, the chocolate nitro whatever thing. Do you know the one? That one was good. Super good. Oh!!! The Indian red curry was really good.” [Referring to the Liquid Nitro Chocolate-Almond Truffle from The Chocolate Studio and the Sweet Avocado Crema with Strawberries, Yellow Cake, and Tortilla Streusel, his all time favorite, discontinued from Active Eats.] -Zach
International Festival of the Holidays (Nov and Dec)
The other 46 weeks of the year the shows around the showcase are the same, this 6 week festival is special.
I really love festival of the holidays because of candlelight and dickens voices as well as all of the
decorations and the cookies and other seasonal treats you can get at all the booths. - Alex

I love the Candlelight Processional and all the winter eats including the gingersnap cookies. Simple; but, so yummy- Eileen
If you are looking for good desserts and sweets as well as nostalgia of the holidays and common traditions you may be familiar with already. And a certain magic of seeing how other countries celebrate. - Alexus
