Every Man Jack Trial Sets

Recently I decided to try out new bath products. I knew that "Every Man Jack" (EMJ) had been around a while. I knew you could buy their products at TJ Maxx, Target and Wal-Mart (among others.) I decided to check out their website to see all their products. I noticed for first time buyers they had 4 trial kits for 10$ each. I decided to look for an online coupon and I did find a nice 20% off. They also offer free shipping when you buy all the trial kits. So I got all the products in the first picture for 35$ after tax. All these products I estimate worth over 100$. (I had to do a lot of adding with their regular sizes and then divided for the sample size.)

 

I was very impressed with how many of these products were full sized. Of course most weren't but that's the point of a trial/sample kit. This company has been featured in many magazines and has won many awards. They use all natural products. (Another reason I tried it was because my dad's name is Jack.)

There are four EMJ sample kits you can try. I will dive into each:

First up is the Skin box. It includes: 

Mud mask

Body wash

Second is the Body box. It was stuffed to the brim and difficult to close it includes:

My calculations estimate the first two boxes are worth about $20 each. (Remember I paid $35!)

Third in our lineup, the Beard kit. It includes.

I estimate these kits worth about $65 total.

Let's add this up:

With the sunscreen, my calculations estimate $120 worth of product for $35. 

What a deal! 

My overall review of the trial sets I give 9/10. 

The good:

The shampoo felt really clean. 

The razor is very heavy duty. 

The beard/face wash may be my favorite product.

The body bar is massive. I was expecting a small sample size. It's the reason the skin box was hard to close. 

Obviously the amount of product you get to try for the price is incredible. 

The indifferent:

The shave cream smells like most other types. I was expecting something different because the company uses all natural products. However, it's not a bad smell. The kit is worth it for the razor and cartridges alone.

The redundant:

There are some redundant product in 4 boxes. However, if you order 1 or 2 this won't be an issue. I assume that was partially my own fault. I still highly recommend trying these boxes.

Of the 4 kits you get to try 3 scents. Their most popular Sandlewood is featured in the beard and body kit. In the skin kit it's the charcoal scent and in the shave kit the menthol blend is featured. EMI have to date 8 scent lines and a few other incomplete lines scattered in for certain things. This company is adding new products frequently it seems from looking at their website and social media platforms. There are other products/scents I want to try. There are so many products and they are constantly giving promotions. I like this company because of the natural products and last November they gave money towards male health research.
