Patience is a Virtue: Yabba Dabba Doo!

In the mid 90's (1995 is my best guess) my parents bought me some Flintstones toys for my birthday. There were 6 in the set. They could only find 5. Fred and Wilma came together in one box. Betty and Barney came together in one box.

Here are my old toys. They are very dirty and old but I love them.

Pebbles and Bamm Bamm both came separately. Which is sad to me growing up because I knew from a movie trilogy released in the early 90's they grew up and got married and had kids. I only owned 1 of them.

My parents found all but Pebbles. Everytime we went to a toy aisle we looked for the next year or so. Over the years I started looking at antique stores, yard sales, thrift stores. If I've been and they sell toys you can bet your bottom dollar I looked. I occasionally checked EBay as well. I've checked EBay every 4 months or so for well over 10 years at this point.

I finally had just about given up hope, when I just had this feeling to check and see if I could find this Pebbles toy. I found it and ordered it.

It just came in the mail tonight and I just sat down to write and tell my blog readers all about this. It may sound silly but I'm over the moon. Imagine looking for something for approximately 25 years and finally finding it. I feel like I should add this to my resume: professional locator.

I'm one happy guy. Tell me about something small that makes you happy.
