Ranking Star Wars Films

 Just so you all know I didn’t watch any Star Wars films until 3 years ago. So I have no nostalgia about them!  

Bottom Tier. I don’t care to ever rewatch these movies.

11- Episode 2-

Why? I couldn’t wait for this to be over! This was a huge mistake! 

10- Solo-

               Harmless, but I didn’t care. You could change the 2 main characters and it wouldn't be a Star Wars film at all. 

9- Episode 8-

               I liked episode 7 so much and was excited to see more and didn’t live up to expectations. I think too many things tried to happen here. 

8- Episode 4-

               Sorry. I couldn’t get into the storyline. I know it started it all but I don't think it found its way until episode 5. I was bored. 

Mid-tier. I am not opposed to a re-watch.

7- Episode 1-

              Not bad. I think it’s mediocre.

6- Episode 3-

           I don’t like what transpires; but, I do think it is the best of the prequels.

5- Episode 9-

               Nice closure to the Skywalker saga and how he passes down the legacy, but I think it tried to overcorrect from Episode 8 and made some mistakes.

Top tier. Amazing films! I will gladly rewatch. These 4 films made me understand why people are fascinated by this saga! 

4- Episode 7-

               I really liked the new characters in the sequel trilogy which made me really enjoy this film.

3 - Episode 5-

               Classic. This is what made Star Wars a multi-generational phenomenon.

2 Episode 6-

               I really, really enjoyed this film! I think it’s the perfect closure to the original trilogy.

1 – Rogue One-

               I love the character of Jen Erso and her journey. This one had me on the edge of my seat.
