In the night We're all looking for a guiding light
We're all seeking something more than right
It must be there

        I think its true that everyone is seeking something. We all have different things we are seeking. Some love. Some approval. 

Every day
We're all trying to find a better way
We're all hoping for someone to say
We're almost there

       

Everyone is trying to find a better way to do something whether it be budget, have a better work-life balance whatever it may be we are always chasing and it always seems like were almost there. 

We believe
There's a reason that we're all here
That every doubt will disappear
We believe

        I think everyone has a purpose for living and that is the reason you are here! When you feel secure doubt will often go away. 

In a time And if we hit a wall that we can't climb

And if we stumble at the finish line
We'll start again

    We all fall down and we just got to keep grinding. We all have challenges to overcome. We can always try again. We all learn a lot from failure. 

Everyone
Every single person under the sun
Has a moment where they know they won
But until then We believe

That tomorrow carries something new 

        Most people get their 15 minutes of fame and it's fun but tomorrow is coming and people will soon forget and that's ok. 

And after everything we've been through We believe In the power of hope

In the strength of peace
There's a way back home
Where the battles cease
Under one we'll grow
If we just believe
This is what we know
This is what we know

        David Cook makes a choice here he keeps saying we believe and at the end he says "This is what we know". After everything we've been through, we believe in the power of hope in the strength of peace."
