One Decade of Blogging!

    I have been blogging for one decade! That is wild to me. It seems like I started yesterday in many ways! In other ways it seems like it's been my whole life. Writing has always been my favorite hobby. It improves my mental health! 

    A lot has happened in 10 years. I became an uncle! That's the best thing. When I started blogging, I was working as a long-term substitute teacher for special needs in WV. I had moved back from a short internship in FL a year prior. Then I moved back to FL to work for the mouse again. Then almost 3 years ago (Feb '23) I moved to the panhandle of FL where I have family. I am back in education and loving it! I also started a podcast titled "Reel Revelation" where I connect movies and the Bible (check it out on Spotify) and have started some groundwork on a book. (We will see where that leads.) 

Let's look back at some interesting things about my blog over the decade! 

    1) This has always puzzled me is that some adult p**n site promoted me once. I got several views from this site. I had never visited or heard of this site and my content is rated PG. So, I am not sure why.... but .... thanks???? 

    2) I have had visitors from 6 continents and over 50,000 views with only about 30,000 from the USA. In 2nd place is 7,000 views from Hong Kong. Which blows my mind. I don't know anyone from there.

    3) How much it has changed over the years. It started off just about my life, then changed to Disney and now mostly about movies.
